FOOD PACKAGING SALES DIRECTOR
📍 Location: USA
💰 Salary: $180,000 – $220,000 Base + Benefits
✈️ Travel: Up to 40% Domestic
We are representing an established organisation within the US supply and distribution packaging industry seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive growth across its Food & Beverage Packaging division selling films, trays, rigid containers, corrugate, protective packaging, labels & more.
This is a strategic, commercially focused position suited to an individual with extensive packaging industry knowledge, a proven track record of developing new business and the ability to support and influence sales teams across multiple markets.
THE OPPORTUNITY

Develop and implement commercial growth strategies across food and beverage packaging markets.

Identify and secure new business opportunities whilst expanding relationships with strategic accounts.

Work closely with regional sales teams to develop opportunities, strengthen customer engagement and secure major contracts.

Provide specialist knowledge across packaging materials, machinery and applications, including flexible films, rigid plastics, corrugated, labels and associated solutions.

Collaborate with manufacturing partners, suppliers and internal departments to develop commercially competitive packaging solutions.

Support complex commercial negotiations, pricing strategies and profitability improvement.

Provide commercial leadership, coaching and market insight to strengthen sales performance and accelerate growth.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Extensive commercial experience within the Food & Beverage Packaging industry.

Proven success in business development, strategic account management and commercial growth.

Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes and end-user applications.

Experience developing and executing sales strategies within a national or multi-regional environment.

Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and manage complex, high-value commercial opportunities.

Strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
