Business Development Executive
Kaizen Global Group Ltd is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our client’s team, specialising in supplying packaging products across various industries. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong track record in technical sales to engage with our high-level clients, including Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, and Medical Device manufacturers.
Position Overview
- Office-based, Monday to Friday, with potential for UK and overseas travel.
- This is a highly technical role requiring physical presence in the office; remote working is not suitable due to the specialised nature of the work.
- Primary responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients, and growing sales through cross-selling to existing customers.
- Role heavily focused on telephone sales (approx. 90%) with occasional face-to-face customer visits and attendance at international tradeshows.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Ideally a 2.1 or 1st Class University Degree in a Science subject
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a technical sales role, demonstrating successful sales achievements.
- Language Skills: Excellent oral and written English skills are essential.
- Numeracy: GCSE Maths Grade C or higher; a short numeracy exercise will be completed during the interview process.
- Location & Mobility: Preferably residing within a 1-hour commute of the office or willing to relocate; able to work overseas as required.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Driving: A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Proficiency in a European language other than English is beneficial but not necessity.
- Experience in selling within the Medical or Healthcare sector is desirable.
