We are partnering with a globally recognised leader within the packaging and specialty films industry, known for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and long-term customer partnerships.
With continued investment across European markets, the business is seeking a commercially driven and ambitious New Business Account Manager to accelerate growth across the DACH region. 40% account management, 60% new business.
This is a genuine hunter role suited to someone who thrives on opening new doors, winning new business, and building long-term commercial relationships within dynamic B2B environments.
🔹 The Opportunity
This position offers the opportunity to join a highly respected international packaging manufacturer supplying both rigid and flexible film solutions into the food sector.
The role will focus approximately:
• 60% new business development
• 40% account management & growth
You will inherit an established customer base while also being tasked with identifying, targeting, and converting new business opportunities across the DACH region.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing strategic business development plans across assigned markets
• Identifying and securing new customers within food and packaging sectors
• Managing and growing existing customer relationships
• Building strong commercial pipelines and forecasting opportunities effectively
• Leading negotiations and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships
• Collaborating closely with technical, operational, and internal commercial teams
• Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and customer opportunities
• Promoting sustainable and innovative packaging solutions that add measurable value to customers
🔹 About You
We are looking for commercially minded, self-motivated individuals with a strong hunter mentality and a passion for driving growth.
Ideally, you will have:
• Proven experience within B2B sales and new business development
• Any experience within packaging, films, plastics, labels, cartons, flexibles, rigid packaging, or related materials
• A strong track record of opening new accounts and growing territories
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Experience managing sales pipelines and commercial forecasting
• The ability to work independently within a fast-paced international environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce would be advantageous
Fluency in English and Dutch is highly desirable, with German language skills considered an advantage.
